THE VOICE BEHIND THE MIC

The Mic Magazine is a brand new on-line magazine based in the
Mississippi Delta in the hometown of B.B. King (Indianola, MS).
The
Mic
is an acronym for Media Industry Coalition. The Mic has been
established to offer opportunities to aspiring professionals seeking to
start careers in the arts and media industry. The magazine covers
everything from entertainment to current news.  However, the focus is
for individuals and groups to have a voice in
The Mic.

As Editor-in-Chief of
The Mic Magazine, I am glad to say that I have
worked for several different media entities which include: ESPN
(Disney);
The Jackson Advocate; ABC and CBS affiliates.  I have had
numerous opportunities to interview some of the nation’s best media-
related icons of our time. My experience as a journalist has granted
me the honor to interview: Mark Shapiro (ESPN/Vice President); B.B.
King (Multi-Grammy Winner/Universal Records); Tonya ‘The Voice’
Ware (2009 Stellar Award Nominee/Princess Production); Eden Brent
(2010 Blues Music Award Winner) and others.

The quality exposure obtained through my experience as a journalist
will allow aspiring artists, models, reporters, rappers, musicians,
producers, writers, and the likes to become members of an
organization that will further assist them professionally.
